Courthouse Bench Beautification Project

East TN Artscapes has partnered with Cocke County Partnership and the Leadership Class of 2017 as well as the Keep Cocke County Beautiful Beautification Committee to restore the Cocke County Courthouse benches which were in a state of disrepair. The old concrete bench ends have been refitted with quality sanded lumber and the boards decorated with local artists’ hand-painted and colorful renditions of fourteen state symbols and icons. This project has been made possible by many local organizations and individuals generous support. Polly Ottinger Beautification Award:
Imogene Chesteen Andrews

Keep Cocke County Beautiful would like to recognize Imogene Chesteen Andrews and her family’s efforts in keeping Cocke County beautiful. It certainly is a family affair. Her beautiful landscaping began with the help of her late husband, Bob Chesteen, and her late son, Chad Chesteen. Now along with her daughter, Mechelle Woodson and husband, Kermit Andrews, Imogene works hard to keep her yard looking beautiful! Thank you to the Chesteen-Andrews family for your beautification efforts!
